Have you made plans for retirement, so you will be able to relax, and enjoy your later years? If you are young, and in school, are you preparing for a career? Psychologist tell their patients to take one day at a time, and that is the trend today, just live it up now, and don’t worry about the future. But if you don’t prepare for your future terrible things can happen, you can have a terrible job, a terrible retirement, but worst of all you can have a terrible eternal destiny. It will take you just seven minutes to read this message, but the next seven minutes will be the most important minutes in your life.
God loves you! You ask how I know that? It is because the Bible tells me so. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.". When God says he loves the world that includes you, the Bible also says that God "will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth". The fact is that God loves you so much that he made it possible for you to join him in heaven.
We live an instant life today, stores sell instant potatoes, pudding and coffee, you can order lunch at a fast food restaurant and eat almost immediately. In the society we live in today we don’t like to wait for anything. When you know that God loves you, and heaven will be your home, God has something for you right now too, it is peace, joy and happiness. The Bible says "The peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.". You can have peace when everything is going wrong. Also Jesus said, "in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.".
God can’t do anything for you if you do not believe he exist. The question that has bothered man, and is still bothering man is, where did we come from? God’s word says, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth". Evolutionist want you to believe that everything you can see, and touch came from nothing, yet their own physical laws say it is impossible for something to come from nothing. There is so much evidence against evolution men have written books on the subject. The reason there is so much disbelief in God, is because one of God’s creations wants to throw God off his throne, and become God himself, his name is Lucifer better known as the devil. The devil hates God and wants to destroy his creations, and that includes you.
The devil first attacked man in the Garden of Eden. When God created Adam and Eve he provided for all their needs. The Bible says God made this commandment, "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat it; for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." The devil knew from experience if Adam and Eve disobeyed God it would bring sin into their lives, and the sin would bring disaster. So the devil convinced Eve if she would eat the forbidden fruit she would become a god, so Eve ate and gave the fruit to Adam and he ate. Because God is just, he could not let the sin go unpunished so Adam and Eve was punished, and banned from the Garden of Eden. And because God is merciful, he said he would make it possible for them to cover up their sins with an animal sacrifice for the Bible says, "for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.". God also said to them one day that he would send his only son to totally take their sins away. Thousands of years later, Jesus Christ the son of God was born. Jesus accepted the mission his father sent him on, and allowed himself to be nailed to a wooden cross, and his blood was shed so that Adam and Eves sins, and our sins could be taken away. The Bible says, "Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world." and "The blood of Jesus Christ his son cleanseth us from all sin.". Today you do not have to sacrifice an animal to remove your sins, what you have to do is ask God to take away your sins, and you have to believe your sins are taken away because of the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross.
Salvation is a free gift from God. There was a time in my life when I thought I would go to heaven when I died, because I was a good moral person, and I had no big sins in my life, but God showed me I was wrong. The Bible says, "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.". Salvation is not good works, good living or going to church on Sunday, God says "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast.".
There are many ways that the devil will try to destroy you. Maybe the devil has convinced you that you can come to God at the very ending of your life but nobody knows when death will knock at their door. Maybe you think you are so good you don’t have any sin in your life but the Bible says, "All have sinned". Maybe you think your sins are too big for God to forgive, but the Bible says, "Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be white as snow". Maybe you think God will not send anybody to Hell and the devil might even have you to believe he does not exist.
Are you ready to face what will happen to you when Jesus comes back? The Bible says you should always be ready, for nobody knows the exact time when Jesus will come. Jesus said "Behold I come as a thief. Blessed is he that watcheth". When Jesus comes back he will take all the saved to heaven and if you are not ready to go you will be left behind and then the judgement of God will fall. The Bible says that there will be great earthquakes, the sun will blacken, the moon will turn red, hail and fire shall fall. 1/3 of the trees will burn up, 1/3 of the sea will become blood, 1/3 of the sea creatures will die and locust will come upon the earth and they will have tails like scorpions and that is just the beginning of judgement. "and in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it: and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.". Jesus told his disciples of the many signs that would come before his return. Jesus said, that many will say they are Christ, many false prophets shall rise and deceive many, love of many shall wax cold, the gospel shall be preached in all the world, children shall rise up against parents, there shall be great earthquakes, famines and pestilence and in the Bible are many other signs.
If you die without asking God to take away your sins you have died in your sins and it will be too late to receive forgiveness and it will be your turn to be judged. The Bible says, "I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened:.... and whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.".
Hell is a real place that was prepared for the devil and his angles. The Bible describes Hell as "unquenchable fire, furnace of fire, everlasting fire, everlasting punishment, everlasting destruction and the lake of fire burning with brimstone". In Hell there will be no water, alcohol, drugs, gambling, sex or any other lust. Those in Hell will be "weeping and gnashing their teeth" and after the final judgement the body will meet the soul in Hell.
This message was written to show you God’s plan of salvation. To receive forgiveness of sins, and to have peace with God you have to, ask God to forgive your sins, and you have to believe that Jesus is your savior. If you don’t know how to pray to God use this prayer. Heavenly Father I know I am a sinner and I cannot save myself. I believe your son Jesus died so my sins could be taken away and now I am asking you to please take away all my sins. I thank you in the name of your son Jesus. If you prayed this prayer to God, you are now saved from Hell. Now the next step is to attend a good Bible believing church, pray and read your Bible every day. Jesus said, "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples". Now to you who did not receive salvation the Holy Ghost is talking to your heart right now. Please listen to him and obey before it is eternally too late. Remember JESUS IS COMING, ARE YOU READY?
